Wow! It’s been a month since something has been posted on here. What better way of getting back on the blogging than posting up a song? I’ve really been feeling Hollerado for the last little while. Tonight I realized that in just a couple months I’ll be off to Edgefest 2011 to once again see the guys in Hollerado take the stage. After a year off the scene, Edgefest is back and stronger than ever! With a lineup of heavy hitters including Hollerado, Tokyo Police Club, The Arkells, Rise Against, The Weakerthans, and up-and-comers, Michou, Dinosaur Bones, Gentleman Husbands and The Sheepdogs (go vote for them to be on the cover of Rolling Stone Magazine btw @ http://www.rollingstone.com/choosethecover).Did I mention that their all Canadian? How much better does it get?
This tune has been on replay for the last little while, purely for the raw harmony breakdown at the beginning of it. Hollerado as a band encompass what separates true talent with talent that has been refined a little too much. Their pure talent, fantastic harmonies, and way with the crowd, make them by far one of my favourite talents to emerge onto the scene in the last few years.
