Adele - Many Shades of Black (cover)

I found this gem when searching through Adele songs. This made my life. I love great music finds and this was an unexpected twist. First of all, I cannot begin to express how much I love the Raconteurs. Many Shades of Black is one of my fave tracks by them. Secondly, Adele is one of the greatest female artists of today. Her voice, her performances, her look is just classy and she is clearly talented. I also respect artists so much more when they write their own songs. None of the silly top 40 pop mush. Therefore put the Raconteurs + Adele and you get one smashing song. This is pure musical talent. It makes my ears happy.

On a side note, for all you Canadians out there, the JUNOS this year were exceptional. I greatly enjoyed the performances and the Canadian musical talent. I should stop gushing about our nation, but what can I say.. I’m Canadian and proud of it! Our country produces some of the best music out there (not to be biased..) Arcade Fire, Broken Social Scene, Billy Talent, City&Colour, Neil Young, Shania Twain, Tokyo Police Club, Down with Webster.. just to name a few.
