The Whimsical World of Two Aficionados

Wednesday, February 2, 2011

It’s February 2nd, which just so happens to be Groundhog Day (Willy predicts an early spring btw). Schools are closed and classes are cancelled due to this impending snow storm we’re supposed to be getting/have started seeing. Being in Canada, should we not be used to this by now? I wonder if they’ll call the troops again à la snowmaggedon ‘99 style lol… With how the weather’s been so far, I think it’s safe to say we can expect a lot more of the fluffy white stuff before our apparent early Spring. I’m loving it! Now I realize not everyone loves snow as much as I do, so I thought I’d share this little video.

The song and video were a collaboration between Andrew Gunadie and Julia Bentley.  You may know Andrew better as his Youtube alter ego Gunnarolla.  The Canadian pair shares this song about mother nature’s uncanny talent of dumping the white stuff down when we least want it.  It’s voicing what we think about the times we look forward for Christmas break to come around so that we can leave for that warm getaway we’ve wanted.

Enjoy!
